Our planning and zoning law experts have an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of statutory and regulatory consents for development, process authorisations, infrastructure agreements and compensation, as well as a keen awareness of the associated risks.

Our core practice consists of high-level, strategic advice on major planning applications and infrastructure projects. We have a close working relationship with our clients through involvement at the earliest stages of development proposals. 

We have been instructed on some of the largest and most complex planning and zoning projects in the Netherlands, including the ‘Zuidas’ Development Project in Amsterdam, the Noord/Zuid Metro Line, also in Amsterdam, and the Project Maasvlakte, a port complex in Rotterdam.

Our planning and zoning experts regularly teach planning and zoning law at universities. Especially professor Niels Koeman, who teaches planning and zoning law at the University of Amsterdam.
