Infrastructure / SPC

We have advised contracting authorities, consortiums and SPCs on virtually all the large infrastructure and area development projects in the Netherlands.

This covers issues such as

  • tender procedures / public procurement
  • competition aspects
  • tax law
  • public law / spatial planning and zoning
  • financing
  • contractual matters
  • environmental law

including e.g. complications that arise due to the intertwining of planning law proceedings and tender procedures.

Our expertise is rooted in the leading academic positions of our partners and in our many years of experience in advising a diverse range of government services and market players. This means we are uniquely qualified to help in the development of innovative solutions in uncharted territory.

In addition to the Tweede Coentunnel and the HSL South, we have been involved in the Hague Regional Water Purification Project and various area development projects, including the Amsterdam 'Zuidas’ enterprise district, the IJ banks development in Amsterdam and town centres in Dutch towns including Lelystad and Nieuwegein.
