Jaap Willeumier

Jaap is Head of our Banking and Finance Practice. His areas of expertise include banking, securities, corporate and structured finance, asset finance, securitisation and debt capital markets transactions. His work encompasses advising financial institutions on restructuring and regulatory matters, consolidation of stock exchanges, debt restructuring and regulatory and securities advisory work. For five years (1989-1994) he was one of the resident partners in Stibbe's New York office, before he moved to London (1994-1996) to set up the firm’s London office.
